Description
The popular Meyer is not a true lemon but believed to be a natural hybrid between a lemon and an orange. The lower acidity and reduced sourness (with less pectin) make it one of the most widely grown home-garden varieties. This variety is well suited to our Tasmanian conditions and more cold tolerant and productive from winter- spring. The fruits are a deep orange-yellow colour with thin skin and they are very juicy, making them perfect for use in dressings and marinades.
