Description
This apple is a smaller variety ideal for the home garden, cottage or small tight spaces (to large for pots). A medium to large fruit with red- orange stripes over a dull yellow colour. Creamy-white flesh which is crisp, sweet and juicy. Fruit thinning may be required to even out crop as it is a heavy bearer. Ripens quite late and is an excellent keeper. A vigorous upright tree which bears mid-season and is well suited to cooler areas. If they are allowed to develop on the tree, Jonagolds are a truly wonderfully flavored apple.
Grafted onto a specially selected dwarfing root stock.
Pollinator: Granny Smith, Red Delicious, Red Fuji and Gala. Triploid cultivar' requires pollination and sterile not suitable for cross pollination
