Meet our latest realse Hydrangea, a show-stopping new addition to Australian gardens! This exceptional hydrangea features unique garland-like stems adorned with crisp white blooms, creating a beautiful cascade effect. Hydrangea Runaway Bride blooms continuously from late spring to autumn, promising vibrant colour for months on end.

This beautiful Hydrangea has quickly become loved worldwide for its unique growth habit and abundant floral displays that form in a garland-like fashion. Beautiful white flowers bloom for upwards of 5 months providing long-term colour through late spring to early autumn.

Effortless Blooms That Get Better Every Year

As Hydrangea 'Runaway Bride' matures, its blooms only improve, adding more beauty with each passing year—no pruning required! This self-renewing growth habit allows flower buds to naturally form along each branch, creating a lush, full display season after season. Embrace its effortless charm as it gracefully fills your garden with vibrant flowers from late spring through autumn.

Flowers form on the previous year's shoots. Best grown in moist to well-draining soils; clay-loam. Moderate water requirements once established. Fertilise regularly throughout the active growing season with an all-purpose fertiliser.Basal shoots should be allowed to grow as they will be the flowering stems in the next year. By keeping these basal shoots, they will achieve the magical 'garland' growing habit. - Do not prune

Care Tips for Runaway Success

  • Avoid pruning to maintain its garland growth habit.
  • Allow basal shoots to grow as they will produce next season's flowers.
  • Fertilise regularly during the active growing season with an all-purpose fertiliser.
  • Tolerates severe cold temperatures and is frost tolerant
  • Great garden performance

This low-maintenance beauty thrives in sun to part shade and prefers organically enriched moist soil—ideally with a clay-loam texture. While its moderate water needs make it easy to maintain, it benefits from extra hydration in extreme heat.
