Mother’s Day at Harmony – Flowers with Heart

Mother’s Day at Harmony is always something special, but this year we’re taking it a step further—bringing together some of the best local florists to create a true pop-up experience. Fresh, seasonal flowers, thoughtfully designed, and made with heart by a team who genuinely love what they do.

Across Mother’s Day week, the space will be full of energy behind the scenes—flowers arriving daily, hands busy bunching, wrapping and creating. It’s one of those times where you can really feel the care that goes into every single bouquet.

At the centre of it all is Ange, stepping back into her florist apron with over 20 years of experience. There’s a natural ease to Ange’s work—an ability to create something that feels just right, whether it’s soft and sentimental or full of life and colour.

Joining Ange is Janita, formerly the owner of Beautiful Flowers in Bellerive. Janita brings a wealth of knowledge and a calm, refined approach to her floristry. She’ll be working closely behind the scenes leading into the big day, helping ensure every detail is just as it should be.

Kate from Clifton Blooms will be keeping us beautifully stocked with her farm-grown natives, grown just kilometres away. There’s something incredibly special about flowers that are grown locally—they’re fresher, more seasonal, and handled with care from start to finish. It also means fewer chemicals and less reliance on single-use plastics, which sits perfectly with how we like to do things at Harmony.

Many of you will already know Indy from in-store, but what you might not know is that Indy is also a talented florist. For Mother’s Day, she’ll be stepping into that role, bringing her natural, effortless style to the bouquets. Her work has a softness to it that feels relaxed and genuine—perfect for the occasion.

And this year, we’re incredibly excited to welcome Lani to the team. As the creative behind The Romantics Florist, Lani brings a considered and collaborative approach to her work. Her style is modern, artistic and not entirely expected—beautifully balanced arrangements that feel personal and thoughtfully put together.

Alongside the team, we’ll also have Sonia’s stunning bouquets from Afton Blooms—grown locally within 5km of Harmony. It’s another layer to the story, reinforcing our focus on freshness, sustainability and supporting local growers.

Mother’s Day is one of our busiest times of the year, and with a line-up like this, we know demand will be strong. With ongoing supply challenges and rising costs across the flower industry, we’ll be working hard to create as much as we can—but we strongly recommend ordering online early to secure your flowers and avoid missing out.

At the end of the day, this is more than just a pop-up. It’s a collaboration of talented people, beautiful flowers and a shared passion for creating something meaningful. And we can’t wait to share it with you. ?
