Description
Reliable cropping and a good flavour. The nuts are elongated and are formed in pairs, dropping as they ripen. If left in their shell, Cosford Hazelnuts will store well for more than a year.
Pollinator: American White - It is beneficial to plant more than one variety for better yields
(Cosford is the best pollinating partner of the hazelnuts, and should be grown with any planting to ensure abundant cropping)
Uses: roasting, blanching, fresh, puree and cooking
