Fast growing perennial with lemon flavoured stalks. Essential flavouringin East Asian cooking. Drought tolerant and grows in wide range of soils. A good source of vitamin A.

| How To Grow |
Sow in pots or direct into the garden 5mm (1/4”) deep. Germination can be slow and erratic so sow several seeds per planting. Transfer to large pots or containers when seedlings are 10cm (4”) tall, and to final growing position in full sun or light shade when large enough to handle and danger of frost has passed. Ensure temperatures remain above 20°C. Seedlings emerge 14-21 days. |
