Description
A cherished heritage apple dating back to the 1700s, Pomme de Neige, or 'Snow Apple', produces medium-sized fruit with a beautiful crimson-red blush over pale green-yellow skin. The flesh is exceptionally white, crisp and juicy with a sweet, aromatic flavour and subtle berry-like notes. Grafted onto a dwarfing rootstock, it is well suited to smaller gardens and home orchards.
Pollination: Requires a compatible apple variety nearby for reliable fruit set. Suitable pollinators include Pinkabelle®, Leprechaun™, Gala, Golden Delicious, Fuji, Granny Smith, Jonathan, Red Delicious, Pink Lady® and Cox's Orange Pippin.Harvest: April-May
