Description
Medium to large pale green, becoming slightly yellow fruit with cream finely grained crisp flesh, which is very juicy. A sweet flavour with a slight acid bite. Golden Delicious trees bear fruit at a very early age, producing heavy crops on a very vigorous tree. The apples have good keeping qualities.
Best when left to ripen on the tree compared to those that you may buy.
Pollination: Requires a compatible apple variety nearby for reliable fruit set. Suitable pollinators include Granny Smith, Pinkerbelle®, Pink Lady, Fuji, Jonathan and Red Delicious
Harvest: April to May
Best Uses: Fresh eating, cooking, baking, juicing and storing
