Description
Often called 'Bartlett'. Medium to large size fruit that is very juicy with a sweet flavour. Pale green at picking but ripens to a clear attractive yellow, sometimes with a slight blush. The flesh is white, firm and fine grained with a very juicy, tender finish. Once the tree matures it will produce heavier, regular crops - fruit should be harvested while still firm.
Pollinators: Partially self-fertile. Beurre Bosc, Nijisseiki and Winter Nelis
Uses: fresh fruit, juice, stewing, preserving and drying.
