It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure we can gain suitable access to the recipient’s property. Our courier company and delivery drivers reserve the right to not access a property with pets or locked gates and in these cases the delivery may be left at the entrance to the chosen delivery address.
Any claims on the delivery of fresh items (flowers or plants) must be made within 24 hours of delivery due to being a perishable item and within 7 days for other non perishable items. On the occasion where a recipient is not at home to accept a delivery, our couriers will leave the item in a safe location unless otherwise specified in the "Special Instruction" section within the website checkout or by directly ordering by phone.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure all delivery and contact details are correct and that the recipient will be home within a suitable time frame if delivering to a third party. In the event where fresh items are left for the recipient we will not accept any further responsibility or cover charges for reordering or rerouting the order or for the quality of the fresh items which have been delivered.
In some cases we may be required to leave items in a suitable location if the recipient is not home but we do not accept responsibility for the items going missing or stolen if left at an unattended residence. We strongly recommend putting a drop off location in our “Special Instructions” section at the checkout e.g. “leave at front door”.
Our delivery drivers will not enter sites where pets are loose. We will take all due care but if it is unknown to the courier that a pet is present and it escapes the residency, we take no responsibility.
Florist & living gifts
Harmony Flowers delivers in the local area with our prompt same day delivery service within 30klm. Our same day service ensures that your flowers are fresh and hand prepared by our professional florists. Order before 11am Monday to Friday for same day delivery. Saturday and Sunday flowers are available with prior notice and in-store collection only.
There are some locations due to their remoteness that we are unable to guarantee delivery. If this is the case we will contact you to discuss alternate options however rerouting will incur additional fees.
Whilst we offer customers the opportunity to nominate a preferred time of delivery or where to leave items in our “Special Instructions” section (i.e. AM, PM or ASAP) it is not always possible to guarantee that these times will be achieved. Harmony Flowers will en-devour to do the best they can to fulfil your special request instructions, but occasionally due to reason out of our control or specific high volume days e.g. Valentines, Mothers Day and Christmas this is not always achievable.
If your order is timed for a specific event e.g. a funeral, wedding or business function, we will do our best to assist however Harmony strongly recommends that you contact us directly to provide us with detailed instructions and delivery times. We also recommend an alternative address so the flowers can be delivered elsewhere if required.
Living plants can be delivered to most area within Tasmania. They will be bare-rooted of soil and packaged to withstand the courier timelines required. Our courier delivery service for living plants is normally completed within 10 working days from ordering but some remote areas may incur extra time or fees. In the event we are unable to deliver to your area we will call to offer alternate arrangements or a full refund if preferred. Delivery rates are based upon small cartons under 2kgs and in the case of larger consignments we will call to discuss alternate arrangements or offer a full refund if preferred. No responsibility will be accepted for incorrect delivery details or re-routed deliveries or the additional fee these may incur. We do not deliver interstate or overseas due to quarantine restrictions.
We delivery bulk landscape supplies within a 30km kilomoter radius of Lauderdale. Council laws prohibit leaving deliveries on public footpaths and if the recipient requests us to do so they will accept full responsibility. It is important that the recipient provides sealed access roads to sites and level spaces for trucks to unload. Carriers reserve the right, subject to site conditions, to leave deliveries at any positions on the client’s property and to charge for rerouting and onsite cancellation.
Although we take care to deliver items to the best location for our clients, we accept no responsibility for damage to council or your property by delivery trucks.
Colour variations may occur in any product due to climatic conditions or during the collection process.
Any claims of product or shortage of quantities will not be accepted after 48 hours, or when items are relocated and no claims will be recognised where deliveries are made to unattended sites.
We accept no responsibility for product damaged or extra costs incurred for delivery to steep or difficult sites or where suitable access roads are not provided. Where you have made onsite requests, the carrier will only undertake what they can safely accomplish and it is their decision on where the items can be unloaded and any towing fees required will be at the purchasers’ costs.
