Potato Onions are larger than Shallots and store longer when harvested, with the bulbs lasting around 6 months if stored in an airy enviroment . Crops are usually harvested on the longest day and just before flowering but as the tips of the foliage begins to dry off. For best results plant into a full sun position in well drained soil.
One bulb can produce up to 8 or more onions as they multiply.
