Harvest: February
Best Uses: Fresh eating, fruit platters, desserts, jams, baking and preserving.
Position: Full sun in well-drained soil.
Why We Love It: Dwarf Elephant Heart produces some of the most spectacular plums you'll ever grow. The large, heart-shaped fruit is packed with juicy, ruby-red flesh and a rich, sweet flavour with just the right balance of tartness. Tasmania's warm summer days and cool nights help develop exceptional colour, sweetness and aroma, while the compact tree makes pruning, netting and harvesting much easier.
