Description
A dwarf form of the popular plum–apricot hybrid, producing medium to large fruit with deep maroon skin and sweet, juicy red flesh. Spring Satin® combines the rich flavour of a plum with the sweetness and aroma of an apricot, creating an outstanding fruit for home orchards.
Pollination: Partially self-fertile, however crops are significantly improved with a compatible pollinator. Suitable pollinators include Fireball™ Apricot, Flavor Supreme Pluot, Santa Rosa or another Japanese plum or plumcot flowering at the same time.
Harvest: December to January
Best Uses: Fresh eating, fruit platters, desserts, jams and preserving.
Position: Full sun in well-drained soil.
