Pollination: Partially self-fertile. For heavier crops, plant with Green Gage, Damson, Marjorie's Seedling or another European plum flowering at the same time.
Harvest: March
Best Uses: Fresh eating, desserts, jams, bottling and preserving.
Position: Full sun in well-drained soil.
Why We Love It: Coe's Golden Drop is widely regarded as one of the best-flavoured European plums, producing beautifully sweet, honey-like fruit with exceptional richness and aroma. Tasmania's cool climate allows the fruit to develop outstanding flavour and colour, while the tree rewards gardeners with reliable crops of premium-quality plums. A wonderful heritage variety for anyone who appreciates old-fashioned flavour.
