Description
Large elongated fruit with attractive golden-yellow skin, often blushed pink to red. The firm yellow flesh is exceptionally sweet, juicy and richly flavoured, making Luisa an outstanding choice for fresh eating and home orchards.
Pollination: Partially self-fertile. For heavier crops, plant with Santa Rosa, Mariposa, Satsuma, Gulf Ruby or another compatible Japanese plum flowering at the same time.
Harvest: February
Best Uses: Fresh eating, fruit platters, desserts, bottling, jams and preserving.
Position: Full sun in well-drained soil.
